The design used in Najafabad rugs is similar to Isfahan and Kashan rugs, using curvilinear and floral patterns. Common colors used in these rugs are red, ivory, green, and vibrant blues and the knot count ranges from about 100 KPSI and can go up as far as 475 KPSI in the finer pieces.
