This is a Village Mamluk rug hand-knotted in India with an all wool pile on a cotton foundation. This rug is new and in excellent condition.

Mamluk rugs revived using classic antique Mamluk designs which originated from weavers within the Mamluk dynasty. Mamluk rugs today are commonly woven in India, Pakistan, and Turkey and are available in many different qualities and styles. These new Mamluk rugs are enhanced with traditional and modern color combinations and are woven with the highest quality materials.
